First Time in Amsterdam

It was an amazing experience for me to visit mesmerizing Dutch Capital with my wife, where we landed on Friday evening in Amsterdam Airport Schiphol after 7 hours long-haul journey. The perfect climate and cool breeze with little bit showers, which displays the beautiful nature of Netherlands surrounded by lush parks and gardens, gabled houses and colorful markets. It was easy for me to find a cheap hotel in the city with awesome facilities including taxi availability.

We were driven out straight to a 3-star hotel in city center, before exploring city tour. It was a big challenge for us to navigate cities tourist attractions and sightseeing places. You shouldn't miss to wrap up with a canal cruise, coffee, bar and cultural cuisine. Every festival defines you a story about Dutch culture and tradition, where you can also explore extensive range of adventure activities and events.

We have a broad plan to explore cities each tourist attraction, sightseeing’s, museums and adventurous tours. The dazzling city offers plenty of options for first time visitors to spend great time starting from boat tours to endless sightseeing’s. Traditional breakfast allows us to experience the real taste of Netherlands with extensive range of bread, dairy and fruit.

You shouldn't miss to taste delicious ontbijtkoek and beschuit. Of course! we have seen a wide menu for breakfast including luxury items listed like smoked fish platters, fruited breads, whole wheat bread, and Uitsmijter (Dutch Fried Egg & Ham Breakfast). Bit surprise for me to see bikes everywhere, which estimates more than 16 million people using by cycles.

With the support of Akbank, the 35th Istanbul Film Festival is all set to take place between 7 and 17 April. The festival hosts 187 feature films, 10 short films, and 24 experimental films as well, in 25 different categories.

Along with the screening of a total of 221 films by 223 directors from 62 countries, there will be important meetings with guest film-makers, concerts, panel discussions and other special events. Every year, the prestigious awards are given in all major categories for top films, writers, film-makers, and actors. In the 35th Istanbul Film Festival, ten cinemas across Istanbul are taking part, which mainly aims to support independent theatres. The festival’s cinema honorary awards, bestowed on eminent figures of Turkish cinema, who have contributed their lives and hearts into cinema, will be presented to five artists this year.

My first impressions of Jordan

It was my first visit to Jordan and absolutely to the Arab World too. I explored the historical city with along with a group in the month of December. I was very much excited to explore Jordan and this is a perfect trip for those on short time. It is famous to explore from ancient cities, sweeping deserts, museums through dead.

First day at Amman

Day one, we arrived at the airport and lodged in a group hotel at Amman, the capital of Jordan. We visited Roman Theatre and Royal Automobile Museum. The central part of the theatre was cored out of a hill or slope and has seating capacity of 6000. The best time to take pictures is in the morning also when the soft light. Present scenario of the theatre has become a place of entertainment. Later, we reached Royal Automobile Museum by taxi. Museum stores the rare collection of Jordan's vehicles over 70 classic cars.

Jerash and Taking a dunk in the Dead Sea

After breakfast we left to Jerash, an incredibly upheld Roman City. While leaving to Jerash my backpack was misplaced. We spent few hours by exploring the city and shopped backpack and some important accessories to continue my travel. Later, we started to Dead Sea. It is the deepest hyper saline lake in the world and it has Earth's lowest elevation. Bobbing and floating in the Dead Sea is a wonderful experience. It has high density point so swimming in Dead Sea is similar to floating. I stayed at resort, which is at end of the sea in the northeastern direction. The Dead Sea holding a great property that curing skin conditions and helps with respiration and it holds mineral-rich mud is used in spa treatments. I have spent great time and grabbed many splendid experiences with my group.

Visited the ancient city of Petra

The ancient Nabataean city of Petra and it is also known as the Rose city. Visiting Petra is just amazing and remarkable for me. We arrived there early in the morning to avoid the other tourist groups and stay for more time. We must be very much thankful to our guide who explained the history of Petra deliberately. Incredible city Petra was built before Christ was born. The appearance of rose tinted pillars that evoke the curiosity to visit Petra for any traveler. We could see the images of this place, but experiencing it with your own eyes is entirely different and it really makes you think about the people that once live the lands. We are excited to walk the whole path of Petra and sometimes we used donkeys. To avoid the sunstroke we often have the water. It has been an amazing place for me to know about the ancient Petra.

After visiting Jordan I relished more than I expected. It is an amazing and overall Jordan remains astounding country to be discovered.

Always it is advisable to see the room first. If the guest house is equipped with the lockers then it makes secure your belongings. Also check for windows and doors that work with good condition. Choosing a guest house or a hostel really depends on my mood. If the traveller feel to sociable and don’t have a loads of work to do, then they usually prefer to hostel.

It is a fantastic experience to live like a local.

Short-term apartment tips:

Choose the apartment with the past reviews. The apartment’s location should be near to the transportation options. If the traveler planning to spent for more than a month or longer then it is advisable to follow the local classifieds for the best deals.

Camping

If you are a nature lover then it would be a splendid experience for you to choose camping. Most of the time camping is free of cost, but if you camp in popular places it may costs a bit. Camping tips:
Make sure to carry an improvised lantern. Always try to keep up your clothes warm. Bring quick and dirty fire-starters and pack more fire-starters. Assure that your matches were protected. Conceal your valuables in soap.
